Why not make your own muesli from time to time? With our basic muesli recipe, you can choose whether and with which fruits you garnish your muesli and whether you add nuts. With this muesli recipe, you are definitely equipped for an optimal start to the day.
Basic muesli recipe:
The basic muesli recipe is very easy to prepare. First, put your oats in a single-serving bowl. Add milk or a plant-based milk alternative to the oats.
At Verival, we also like to use almond milk, rice milk, coconut milk or a mix of these. This gives you an additional nutty flavor or just a little more natural sweetness in your muesli.
Then stir in the yoghurt and mix in the lemon juice.
Now leave the muesli to stand for five minutes. During this time, the oats will absorb the liquid and start to swell. The slightly firmer consistency will also keep you fuller for longer. That's why this muesli recipe is great if you're trying to lose a few pounds.
After five minutes, you can garnish your basic muesli recipe with fresh fruit and/or nuts. This fruit and nut combination not only tastes great, but is also very healthy.
Do you still want a little more sweetness? Then simply add a little honey to your muesli, stir and enjoy.
