As part of our "Good morning from..."
series,
we introduce you to our favorite breakfast restaurants in various cities. Our colleague Victoria is a big London fan and loves to have breakfast in the metropolis. Today, she introduces you to her favorite places in the city. Some of them have multiple locations in London, so no matter where you are, you'll have a great breakfast spot around the corner.
The Breakfast Club
The first breakfast restaurant that should not be missing from the list is The Breakfast Club. The first restaurant of this kind was established in 2005 on D’Arblay Street in Soho, London. The front is painted yellow, decorated with objects that the two founders behind the concept, two children of the 80s, had in their childhood rooms.
Now, there are already six cafes in London where you can have breakfast and lunch. At six other locations of the Breakfast Club, you can dine throughout the day, and five bars are also part of the Breakfast Club.
The cafes are almost all located in and around London and are not all identical to the original model. According to the owners, there is a location for everyone, from the small bright yellow eatery in Soho to the Wigan casino-style café at Canary Wharf.
For those unfamiliar with Wigan Casino, this is one of the most famous nightclubs in the world, which operated in Manchester between the 1960s and 1981.
But what do you have for breakfast at The Breakfast Club? On the menu, you will find classics such as eggs Benedict, pancakes, and porridge, as well as new creations such as avocado sandwiches. For those with a sweet tooth craving a sweet breakfast, we especially recommend the Pancakes & Berries – delicious pancakes with fresh berries and maple syrup.
Tip: Unfortunately, there are often wait times in front of the Breakfast Club, so it is advisable to try your luck during the week or right after they open!

Where the Pancakes Are
The restaurant Where the Pancakes Are can also be found in London, south of the Thames. The restaurant offers pancakes in every way - sweet, spicy, classic, extraordinary, small, and large. There are also many vegetarian and vegan options.
Here, too, there may be wait times, both during the week and in the evening, but you can reserve a table! Therefore, we recommend that you try your luck here for breakfast during the week.
Here, too, we tasted sweet pancakes and found them to be super tasty! However, as already mentioned, there are also various savory pancakes, such as those with halloumi, sausages, eggs, hollandaise sauce, tomatoes, mushrooms, and much more!

39 Steps Coffee
The restaurant 39 Steps Coffee can be found at three locations in and around London. One is in Soho, one in Knightsbridge, and one in Woolwich, east of London.
We tested the restaurant in Soho, mainly because the queue at "The Breakfast Club" was too long that day. We looked around for an alternative and came across 39 Steps Coffee. The café is super sweet, and the best part: you get a table after just a few minutes of waiting at most.
You also order and pay at the counter, and then your food and drinks are served to the table. This saves you needing to flag down the waiter after you're done, and you can leave the restaurant at any time!
The café specializes in coffee - only the best coffee beans are selected and brewed, creating the best, sustainable coffee. The restaurant offers ten different types of espresso, which can also be enjoyed with soy, almond, or oat milk.
In addition, the café also offers various cold coffee drinks, especially refreshing in the summer! In addition to the drinks, there are also numerous dishes such as pancakes, granola, avocado on toast, sandwiches, and various types of eggs.
And maybe we should have titled this blog post "Pancakes from London," because here too we tried the super tasty Peach Jam Pancakes, which are essentially just pancakes with apricot jam (pancakes with apricot jam), J.

Muriel's Kitchen
Another insider tip: Muriel's Kitchen! This charming place is in South Kensington, and you can eat there 24 hours a day. We tried the breakfast and really enjoyed it. We were particularly impressed by the unique and modern interior design.
Again, we had to wait for a table - but the great thing about it? You could sign up for a list and then receive an SMS as soon as a table became available. We were able to stroll through South Kensington while waiting and even discovered the South Kensington Farmer's Market.
At Muriel's Kitchen, named after one of the owner's grandmother, we indulged in the Power Porridge, which could be enjoyed warm or cold. The banana bread also tempted us from the next table, and we would definitely like to try it!
So if you're staying near South Kensington, be sure to stop by Muriel's Kitchen for a super tasty breakfast. And best of all, the dishes are freshly prepared, with ingredients sourced from local suppliers.

JOLT COFFEE
Café Jolt is located in Central London, on a side street off Oxford Street and very close to Oxford Circus. The café is best known for its delicious coffees.
There are the classics, such as espresso, Americano, macchiato, and cappuccino. However, we especially noticed the coffee lattes, which come in different flavors.
We have tasted the pistachio latte and can highly recommend it to all nut lovers.
In addition to the delicious drinks, they also offer dishes such as muffins, croissants, sandwiches, cakes, and other small bites.
So if you're on Oxford Street, need a little shopping break, and don't just want to visit the nearest Starbucks: make sure to stop by Jolt!

Cereal Killer Café
We have a special surprise for all of you cereal lovers - the Cereal Killer Café. In London, there are already two of them - one on Brick Lane in East London, and one at Camden Market, another tourist hotspot.
The two restaurants serve cereals not just with milk in a bowl, but also in chicken dishes, ice cream, alcohol, or milkshakes. The two cafés offer a great 90s flair for both young and old.
Conclusion: If you have to leave the Verival breakfast at home just this once... the Cereal Killer Café is definitely a good option.
